Hello world, say hello to Monarcherie (“mon-arch-erry”) Marketing LLC, Decatur, Illinois’ newsest marketing consulting firm.

This week I filed my LLC status as I have now accepted two contracts as an independent business owner! The first is a strategic marketing project where I get to help a variety of clients fine-tune their messaging and brand strategy with innovative live and online events. It has been so exciting to get to play with ideas and strategies that they have had in their minds, but didn’t have the resources or bandwidth to execute. I am finding a great need for the kind of project and deadline management skills that I bring to the table.

The second contract is an internal marketing project, where I will be pulling together a security newsletter as well as launching strategic partnership conversations for a fantastic security product company with a very creative approach to learning. I can’t wait to share more about this as it comes together.

Along with my ‘official’ company status, I also ‘officially’ became someones’ wife this week! How weird is that!? Mr. Saurs and I tied the knot to secure the ‘paperwork’ side of things and ease my transition away from a full-time salaried position. Thank goodness he works for the State of Illinois and has those excellent benefits! Everyone should be so lucky as to be able to actually afford their health insurance.
