CyberSN ladies representing at Day of Shecurity Boston 2018

7 years is a really long time when you’re not even 40 yet…2015 feels like another era. Before the pandemic, before the world knew a casino owner could become the president, before the surreal spectacle of 1/6/21, and before “women in cybersecurity” was a hot topic…I got hired to be a marketing associate for a startup called CyberSN. One year in, I helped the CEO begin a not-for-profit called Secure Diversity. Together we have participated in, sponsored, spoken at, organized, and attended literally HUNDREDS of events, including my proudest accomplishment, Day of Shecurity. In that time, tens of thousands of people were helped by us and millions of people have heard the messaging and content that we have created together. It is with immense sadness and tremendous respect for DeidreMark, and the CyberSN team that I share with my network the news that I am moving on to my next chapter.

I have the unique opportunity to help a great friend Marlin launch her own company Move Left Consulting, a fundraising and political consulting firm that connects vetted candidates with powerful fundraising and an activism engine to help them achieve success and win elections. These are the people that the progressive movement has encouraged to get involved with politics in their own communities, and now that they are in the game, they need our help to win! The first campaign I will be working on it for is Sherri #Onica Valle Cole, Candidate for Los Angeles City Attorney! Check her out: https://lnkd.in/dW_PCa7H

I look forward to staying connected to my friends in my professional network. I will be at #rsaconference in June and #DayofShecurity virtual conference in May! Love to my soon-to-be husband Andrew, who always has my back and believes in me like whoa. Love you so much babe.

Spread your wings and fly my friends!

Lisa
